Recently bought these for a date where the other person was latex sensitive. These functioned perfectly for skin allergies and didn't bunch up. Applying them with a tiny bit of lube to the area works well enough, but with any downy hair in the area, any sort of vigorousness made them slide off. In this case, it seemed to function better if you applied them to yourself, ala the "Pass The Paper" no hands game, where you are sucking on the dam itself to form the seal around your own mouth.

Due to unfortunate circumstances, I suddenly have the need to use dental dams with my partner after over a year of our relationship and neither of us have used them before. I was reading everywhere I could find about peoples’ experiences with dental dams in general and becoming more deeply dismayed and disappointed with each recounted experience. Generally, it seems like people hate dental dams, they’re a huge barrier to sensation, and they smell weird. So when I purchased these, I was very nervous that I wouldn’t be able to make my partner feel good with them, and preemptively heartbroken about the results. I was so wrong to feel this way!! These are so thin and soft, my partner really liked it and I was still able to really pleasure them. I’m beyond ecstatic with how easy these are to use, how little of a learning curve there was, and how much sensation can still be felt through them. My partner did say I that I did need to apply more pressure for them to experience AS MUCH sensation, but that’s no problem at all! I can do that! As for smell, I wasn’t thrilled initially that I couldn’t find any unscented dams anywhere, but I’m honestly a little glad they are scented. Further reading into the scented vs. unscented discussion has shown me that unscented dental dams just smell like rubber which seems rather unpleasant. And while these dams are scented (the strangest scent being…cola???) they are pretty tasteless so there’s no weird artificial flavor, AND no rubber smell. The scent isn’t too overpowering, and probably just enough to eliminate the rubbery scent the dams would’ve naturally had. The cola seemed like a very odd choice in scent and I haven’t used it yet, but it seems tolerable at least. The others were strawberry, wildberry, and vanilla and pretty pleasant! All in all, I feel like these are a great product and a great place to start if you’re nervous like me and my partner were! I definitely recommend :)

Licorice is a terrible flavor and should not be in the multi pack.

My boyfriend and I LOVE these! They provide safety and are mess free and don't dull sensation too much! I've ordered twice now and we WILL be ordering again in the future!
